Uzbekistan’s Textile Exports Have Seen Significant Growth

According to data released by the National Economic Statistics Commission of Uzbekistan, the export volume of Uzbekistan’s textiles increased significantly in the first 11 months of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, and the export share surpassed that of textile products. The export volume of yarn increased by 30600 tons, an increase of 108%; Cotton fabric increased by 238 million square meters, an increase of 185%; The growth rate of textile products exceeded 122%. Uzbekistan’s textiles have entered the supply chain of 27 international brands. In order to increase export volume, the country’s textile industry is striving to improve product quality, establish the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand, and create a good business environment. With the rapid development of e-commerce, it is expected that the export value of related products will increase by 1 billion US dollars in 2024.
