What are the most important details that should not be overlooked when climbing outdoors?

1. Before climbing, it is necessary to understand the terrain and landforms, the structure and height of the mountain, and to identify dangerous areas, rocky hills, and areas overgrown with grass and trees.

2. If the mountain is interspersed with sand, gravel, pumice, shrubs and other wild plants, do not grasp the roots of the grass or branches that are not solid when climbing. If you fall down while climbing, you should face the grassy slope and get down for self-protection.

3. If you have shortness of breath on the way up, don’t force yourself to climb in, you can stop at the same place and take 10-12 deep breaths until your breathing is even again, then move forward at a slow speed.

4. Shoes should fit well (rubber shoes and travelling shoes are good), no high heels, and clothes should be loose (sportswear and casual clothes are good); 5. bring some water or drinks with you in case there is no water on the mountain;

6. It is better not to climb the mountain when the weather is bad to avoid danger;

7. don’t run down the mountain when going down, in order to avoid the danger of not being able to collect your feet;

8. lean forward when climbing the mountain, but the waist and back should be straight to avoid the formation of a hunchback and stooped posture.
