The South Korean Trade Commission issued Announcement No. 2023-8 (Case Investigation No. 23-2022-6) stating that in view of the applicant’s application for revocation of the anti-dumping investigation filed on April 25, 2023, it has decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation on oriented polyester yarn (POY, or pre oriented yarn) originating in China and Malaysia. The Korean tax number of the involved product is 5402.46.9000.
On February 24, 2023, the South Korean Trade Commission issued Announcement No. 2023-3, in response to an application submitted by the Korean Chemical Fiber Association on December 27, 2022, to initiate anti-dumping investigations against targeted polyester yarns originating in China and Malaysia.
